初出音源をぎっしり詰め込んだCD8枚と、68ページのオリジナル・ブックレットで構成

オリジナル・ブックレットには、元マザーズのイアン・アンダーウッドのロング・インタビュー(聞き手はフランク・ザッパの次男、アーメット)、ジム・ポンズ(元マザーズ)、エディ・クレイマー、ジョー・トラヴァース(ザッパ家のテープ倉庫管理人)が寄せたライナーノートを掲載。日本盤にはその全訳と歌詞及びMCの対訳を掲載したブックレットを付属。

8枚のCDには、『フィルモア・イースト1971年6月』の基になった1971年6月5日～6日のフィルモア・イースト4ステージの模様を完全収録。さらに、名エンジニア、エディ・クレイマーとバーニー・グランドマンがそれぞれリミックスとマスタリングを担当した同年12月のロンドンはレインボー・シアター公演(ザ・ビートルズの「抱きしめたい」のカヴァーを含むアンコールまで完全収録)、1971年5月にペンシルヴァニア州ハリスバーグ及びスクラントンで録音されたライヴ音源、同時期のシングルのAB面曲、当時のラジオCMのアウトテイク等も併録。

ジョン・レノン&オノ・ヨーコがゲストとして加わったフィルモアの最終ステージの模様が、アンコールを含む未編集の完全版で公開されるのは初めて。またシングルのAB面曲「ティアーズ・ビギャン・トゥ・フォール」と「ジュニア・ミンツ・ブギー」も今回が待望の初CD化。
