Project LEAD – inform to prevent

 

Objetivos: desenvolver e disseminar recursos informativos dirigidos a crianças e jovens sobre violência entre pares, violência de rua e outras formas de violência; prevenir a vitimação e a adoção de comportamentos de risco e promover estratégias de segurança pessoal e comportamentos prosociais; promover a capacidade de intervenção das organizações e estruturas de apoio junto destes grupos.

Projeto promovido pela Associação Portuguesa de Apoio à Vítima (APAV) e cofinanciado pela Comissão Europeia no âmbito do Programa DAPHNE III - prevenção e proteção de crianças, jovens e mulheres contra todas as formas de violência - da Direção-Geral da Justiça.

No âmbito deste projeto, foi desenvolvido o website www.apavparajovens.pt. dirigido a crianças e jovens, com informação sobre diferentes formas de violência, estratégias de procura de ajuda durante e após a situação violenta e estratégias de prevenção da vitimação.

 

Objectives: to develop and distribute informative resources for children and young people about peer violence, street violence and other forms of violence; to prevent victimization and the adoption of dangerous behaviours and to promote personal safety strategies and prosocial behaviors; to promote the ability of the support structures or organizations for intervening with these groups.

Project promoted by the Portuguese Association for Victim Support (APAV) and co-financed by the European Commission under the DAPHNE III Programme - prevention and protection of children, young people and women against all forms of violence – of the Directorate-General for Justice.

Under this project, the website www.apavparajovens.pt/en was developed targeted at children and young people, with information about the different types of violence that might be committed against or between children and young people, help-seek strategies to using during and after the violent situation and strategies for preventing victimization.
