Project WAKE - Working Along with Key Experts

 

Promotor: Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family (SPAVO), Chipre

Objetivo: promover a melhoria do dia-a-dia e situação das vítimas de crime no Chipre, bem como reduzir as suas experiências de discriminação; identificação das necessidades de formação dos profissionais das autoridades governamentais relevantes (Ministério da Justiça e Ordem Pública, Saúde, Trabalho, Segurança Social, Educação e Cultura) e de outros profissionais que contatem com vítimas de crime, visando a melhoria da sua capacidade de operar de uma forma mais respeitosa, profissional e imparcial; promover a partilha de boas práticas na identificação e avaliação dos processos de vitimação, das vítimas e suas necessidades; promover a parceria e relações de trabalho entre os vários atores envolvidos.

Promoter: Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family (SPAVO), Cyprus

Objective: improve the real day-to-day situation of victims of crime in Cyprus and, to the extent possible, reduce their discrimination experiences; identification of the training needs of the professionals of the relevant government authorities (Ministry of Justice and Public Order, Health, Labour and Social Insurance and Education and Culture) and other practitioners coming into contact with victims of violence and crime and improve their capabilities through trainings so as to operate in a more respectful, impartial and professional manner; foster the exchange of good practices on identification and screening processes of victims and their needs; sustaining a network and good working relationships between the involved actors.
