Where it happens

Sexual violence can take place in different situations and places attended by the victim:

in the victim’s home;
in the offender’s home;
in their joint residence, that is, where the victim lives with the offender;
in the victim’s school;
in the victim’s workplace;
in the street and other public spaces;
in an institutional context or structure/service responsible for providing care, supervision or education to the victim (e.g.: residential care homes; day centres; healthcare centres; prisons);
in entertainment contexts (e.g.: parties; nightclubs; bars; gigs and concerts);
in the internet, social networks and new technologies;
