Project digi.well: a whole-school approach to well-being in a digital world

Objectives: 

Outlining the state of the art in terms of education policies and their practical application in the field of children's digital well-being

Main activities:

  1. To identify, map and analyse the state of the art in terms of public policies and good practices in the field of education in relation to digital well-being, both at national and European level;
  2. Development of tools for self-assessment and capacity building, namely a questionnaire to assess existing infrastructures, policies and good practices around the use of digital technologies in schools, with a particular focus on student wellbeing; Development of an action plan for schools to improve digital wellbeing, both in terms of infrastructures and policies and good practices;  Development of information and educational materials for teachers, who will use these materials to raise awareness about digital wellbeing; development and systematisation of good practices for coordination between schools and national helplines, in order to ensure an effective response to situations that affect the wellbeing of pupils, particularly at the digital level;
  3. Capacity building and dissemination, through the development of webinars, making the digi.well MOOC available on the EUN Academy, open to the public but primarily aimed at teachers, as well as organising training sessions for teachers in each of the partner countries; Development of recommendations for policy-makers and the IT industry, emphasising their roles and responsibilities in promoting digital well-being.
